The business component begins the second week of January following the completion of the Culinary Nutrition Expert Program. Should the timing not work for you, not to worry. There may be an opportunity to register for this component at a later date, separate from your Culinary Nutrition Expert Program registration if space permits, however, there is a cost savings when you register for the Certified Professional or Certified Deluxe level that includes the business component.

Registration is closed for the program. We have a finite number of spots at each level, each year, and we do cap registration when this number is met.
This means registration could potentially close earlier then expected. The beauty of an online course is that you get to watch it back.
In a live class, you can be so busy taking notes that you miss key parts. The weekly modules have all been pre-recorded in HD and are released on a weekly basis during the program. Once they are made available, they remain available. We guarantee a minimum of months access.
The live streams will be available until the end of December. There is the expectation that you do have some basic skills. You should be familiar with how to steam vegetables, make a pot of rice or quinoa, and do some simple stuff beyond taking something from the freezer and putting it in the microwave.
Some general cooking classes at the local high school or community centre could be helpful. There is an honorary level which is a little less, and the Deluxe levels that includes two additional learning opportunities, giving you the opportunity to choose the right option for your goals. There are payment plans available, however, the closer we are to the start of the program, the more restrictive these options are. The 5-month payment plan is available through to mid-May, and the 3-month payment plan is available until mid-July.

The Culinary Nutrition Expert Program is 14 weeks long from the date of our first live-stream class until the final assignment due date.
This program requires a time commitment for the 14 weeks that you would be enrolled approximately from the second week of September to the end of the third week of December, just before the holidays.
We want all of our students to succeed and so all of the assignments and deadlines are presented right at the start of the program to help you manage your schedule. We estimate the program requiring 12—16 hours per week. Some weeks may be slightly lighter or heavier than others. It breaks down to about:. When you register, you are immediately sent access to your first assignment that, if completed prior to the start of the program, will shave 2 hours per week off the above estimate.
There is benefit to being an early bird! We have a tried and tested system for the program that works, and it requires that all of our students go through the program together, meeting the deadlines we have set. You are given all of the course notes and assignment outlines at the start of the program so you have the opportunity to review all of the work and pace out your schedule or work ahead if you desire.
We do however encourage you to follow the pace that we have outlined to ensure you are giving adequate time and attention to the subject matter. This could include a meal plan creation, recipe creation, or workshop design. We have a strict deadline policy on all assignments. This is a professional-level program, and for this reason, we expect our students to uphold a level of professionalism both in the program and upon completion. We want to ensure that all of our students that carry the Certified Culinary Nutrition Expert title work effectively in all that they do.
Late work for clients is not acceptable. And late work for the Culinary Nutrition Expert Program means the risk of losing the certification title. In most cases, you also get to choose from a list of recipes to make the ones that best suit your diet and skill level.
The Culinary Nutrition Expert Program is entirely gluten-free and dairy-free and it is expected that all of your assignments will abide by these principles. We will also show you delicious ways to make some gluten-free and dairy-free alternatives to your favourite dishes!
Your program coach can help you determine a suitable substitute. If you have severe dietary restrictions beyond an allergy or two, please contact us in advance of enrolling so we can ensure the program will work for you. Cooking is a skill we all should have. We offer the option to take this program for personal interest at the Honorary level.
If you choose this option, you will not be required to do any of the homework and can self-direct your learning with the support of the video content, live-stream classes, course notes, and supportive community. For example, if you register for the Honorary level and before the program begins you decide that you would like the Certified level, you would simply pay the tuition difference.
If you are on a payment plan, we would invoice you for the balance and keep your payment plan as is. Once the program starts, it is very difficult to upgrade from Honorary to Certified as the workload is rather heavy and dedicated program coaches have been assigned. Certified students who wish to upgrade to the Deluxe level to take part in the business training and Teaching Resources Portal, have the option to do so, but it will depend on whether there remains space available.
If you do not upgrade prior to the start of the program in September, as outlined in the previous question, you will have the opportunity to register for the Biz Rocking Insider Program later. We typically open registration to Culinary Nutrition Experts in December for the January business component.
