New hand windows vista

I need to change my hard drive asap and I'm wondering if is it possible to re-install my same windows vista to my new hard drive. Or do I need to purchase a new product key to get it installed to my new hard drive?

I don't wanna waste my money before I spent for this and now that I'll change my hard drive I have to say goodbye to it as well. I wanna install windows vista although there are new product keys like windows 7 and 8 cause I'm comfortable working with it already. This thread is locked.
